SKALITUDE
HOW TO ARRIVE
GENERAL GATHERING
FAQ
-
Aw, we wish you could! But alas, NO. For many reasons. There are folks who call this place home, and since we are a small gathering being treated to a weekend on their beautiful land, we want to respect their spaces as well as the community that we’re all co-creating. In order for this to be an immersive experience, it really helps that you and other community members are not having to track a pet. Not to mention, there are coyotes, snakes, and beehives on the property, all of which could pose a threat to your beloved pet.
If you feel that the attendance of your animal companion is absolutely critical to your mental, emotional, physical ability to attend the fair we ask that you please reach out to us directly via our contact page and we will work with you to develop a plan that takes in account your situation.
-
Yes, but please note that everyone has an impact especially on such a small intimate gathering. It’s imperative you come with all necessary support systems so you can fully attend at the level you wish to. We intend to create a kids zone that will aid in supporting the children’s educational and camaraderie experience, but it is not “childcare”, i.e. there is not necessarily an adult assigned to the children’s zone to take care of your child. That will need to be negotiated on site between parents and willing caretakers. Because this is so intimate and we are creating a small village together, we ask that you please provide the name of your child so we know everyone on site in case of an emergency. This is an amazingly beautiful, inspiring land for children and also very uneven in spots and far down a dirt road from the main highway.
The nearest town with any major services and goods is Twisp, roughly 30 minutes away. Please keep all factors in mind and come as prepared as possible.
Please keep all factors in mind.

We will not have a medic on site but will have a people trained in first aid at a booth that can attend to basic bumps and bruises.

SKALITUDE RETREAT
FAQ
-
We are at a new, smaller venue this year. We can only accommodate 200 or so folks comfortably. We think this will be a refreshing, connecting opportunity!
-
There will be ample on site parking and camping available. Some sites allow for car camping, others for tent camping only. There is room for a few smaller RV’s. We will have full site details available in March!
-
We will be providing Lunch & Dinner on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as dinner on Thursday evening. So, SEVEN meals in total. Please reach out to us as soon as you register with any allergies or dietary preferences so we can work with this in mind as we plan our meals and prepare our kitchen.
-
Is there potable WATER onsite Yes, there will be 24/7 access to clean drinking water at the site near the kitchen.
-
There is no wild water source to swim or bathe in on site. We will have limited access to showers as well as our Spa Area - Sauna/Hot Tub/Shower Access.
There will be a sweet Spa area that looks over the valley that will be maintained and managed by dear commUnity members to offer ease of flow and minimize the impact on Skalitude’s facilities. This will most likely be a sign up for session.
